Post My last resort
Just in case somebody walks by and sees this,
I been searching BF3 forums, and other sites for weeks an still cant find a resolution.
Ever since I built a new PC, and no I didnt screw it up, I been having a very slight lag issue in BF3. And dont start in on me with "you still playing that game?"
Anyways, its very slight, about every 3-5 seconds a slight jerk and quite annoying and it does effect gameplay. Flying is out of the question.
I have done pretty much all the tweaks recommended by others to no avail. Set BF3 to high priority in task manager, disbabled anti virus, firewall etc. Shut down BS apps and such. Should I install a seperate network card?I thought it may be I was running wireless but now Im hard wired and still have the issue. My pings only range from the mid 20's to 50's. So whats the major mal-adjustment here?
Please help out an old timey gamer in dire need.

If you open the Xbox App > Settings > Game DVR, disable everything. That may fix it...

(only a month late with a reply  )

Thought I better drop in and say thanks JD.
I read it about a week after you posted but forgot to come back. It helped. All is good.
However....Now I have another issue. Might as well post it here. Im not starting over....
No sound in BF3 (only)
Neither in headphones or speakers.
Yes I googled the shit out of it and they all say the same thing and it doesnt help.
im running a SB ZxR with the module. Yes everything is hooked up correctly.
Here's when it happened:.... ( I'm assuming because it "think" it happened after I updated) the SB drivers from sounblaster main site.
I reinstalled them to no avail but I havent tried going back to the old drivers yet. Not that its the case but Im going to try.
I was told to remove a certain .cfg file but didnt find it in the BF3 folder.
As i said its (only) in BF3.
btw: I need to show you guys my new rig once I get good pics. But dont expect them to look as nice and clear as yours JD.
Everything is replaced. From the unit to the monitor.
Ok...guess Ill see you in a month? ;)

Oh..and how are you assholes doing?
