Post Zotac GTX 660 Ti
I just picked this up on sale for 199$, been looking at one of these for a while now but couldn't justify the price tag.

I was happy with my GTX 460's, then I downgraded to a single 6870 to dual boot Mac OS, which I don't entirely regret, especially since the newer ATI drivers have brought the 6870's performance kind right in between a single 460 and SLI 460's. not to mention I'm running at 1600x1200 which is a little less resource intensive compared to 1920x1080

but alas the 6870 is showing it's age, and it's going to move into a dedicated hackintosh box on my Asus Sabertooth X79 when I get around to finishing the build.

Thanks to the 760's release, I've been watching the 660 Ti's for a good sale, and 199 was right in the price margin I'm willing to spend when I consider the gain, price, and the amount of gaming I actually do these days.

So now I'm on vacation for 9 days as of this morning, got the videocard I wanted, for the price I wanted, got a hole lot of new games thanks to the steam summer sale, so I'll be kicking into gear with Bioshock Infinite as soon as I finish posting these pics

first up, the box, because that's what we all want to see, am I right or am I right?

The open box, really doesn't show how small this card really is

A couple comparison shots with the 6870

not sure if you can see the difference in thickness, love the asus cooler on the 6870, gonna miss that back heatsink

inside the case, with the 6870

I don't think that even two of these could fill this empty void leftover. I seriously keep looking at the box to make sure I bought the right card, this thing is just a little itty bitty thing

the colors clash, but hey, on sale, 199, got what I wanted, for the price I wanted....but seriously....the colors don't work

so far so good

before i had bioshock running on high and it lagged at some points, now i'm on ultra (though I personally don't see the difference) and it's smooth as a vagina should be
