Post BluRay..PS3?
Is it true that it's a great BluRay player?

I was shopping at BB and Fry's for one and could not decide on which one is more reliable when the salesman told me to just buy a PS3 and have your cake and eat it too.

Why not get a Blu-Ray player for your computer? Cheaper and then you can watch BD in the comfort of your corner and with headsets.

Yes, it's still considered to be one of the Best BluRay players on the market because of it's updatability.

But of the three major consoles, why is the PS3 not the top dog because of that?

Not sales wise. XBOX360 still out sells it I believe.

As I see it, the XBox360 is the one to get ... so why would I want the PS3? Not because of the "superior" Blu-Ray player, right? I mean, I have a Sony BD player and it works fine, so if I wanted to get a console to just game on my big screen TV, the XBOX looks like the one to get, right?

I'd say so.

And with the new revision out, it's smaller, cooler and quieter than ever before! And this November, you can also have hands-free motion control too with Kinect. Also has arguably better online service too, though you do have to pay a monthly/yearly subscription.

Which reminds me, since I'm on vacation next week I need to turn my 360 on for the first time since January just to see if it still works.
It should since it's been played on for maybe...uhmmm...2 hours?
