Post Ugly Asus reviews
I know reviews can be taken with a grain of salt but this many? Is Asus slipping? I was about to buy this board

It's Newegg....there's a ton of bogus reviews likely caused by user error.

Yes I assumed that But dam! alot of whiners. It must be a case of inexperienced users who can't comprehend the board's many features. That's just my guess

I always try to get second revision boards, if possible. Otherwise, I just wait.

Every company occasionally has a bad apple. Just avoid it.

Don't ROG products have better service/support? I imagine you could easily RMA it to ASUS, perhaps even Advanced RMA like I did for my P8P67 PRO but I guess that was mainly because it was a B2 model.

Either way, I doubt it's a bad board. It's just that when dumb consumers purchase enthusiast motherboards, they don't realize that it takes some tweaking to get up and running properly. It's not a turn-key solution.

I'm gonna take my chances and side with JD on this one. I'm thinking it's a bunch of novices having difficulties. With the Intel ethernet and onboard X-FI maybe I can ditch this soundcard with the front I/O that requires annoying cables
