Post GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD4-B3
GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 is a board I'm looking at and for the price, it doesn't seem too bad a deal. It has what I would use (SSD caching and with the extra SATA 6gb ports, I could always boot from a RAID 0 SSD array, if I didn't use the SSD cache). I don't need Virtu so what the hey. It's black and it would look good in my FT02B/W. I can still use my Xfire 5870's until the GTX580 shows up (though I don't think I will ... waste of time AFAIK). I also like the fact it has a PS/2 keyboard/mouse port. Nothing worse when on initial setups when the BIOS doesn't detect a USB keyboard. What do you guys think?

Only old motherboards don't detect USB ;) I'm fairly sure this runs UEFI, so that crap is a thing of the past. Lovely GUI with full mouse control!

The one thing I don't like about Gigabyte's Z68 boards is that they opted out of supplying graphics output. Kind of stupid really as it's one of the features of the Z68 chipset compared to the P67.

Yeah, but I don't think I'd need that for what I've read about it. I don't do any video transcoding (don't know how  ) And if I O/C the graphics, it's gonna be on a GTX580, anyways!!

It's good to have onboard as a backup though in case your GPU dies
