P6X58D Premium PCIe slots

Post P6X58D Premium PCIe slots
Would it be cool to move my video card to the second slot on this Mobo? I know some are picky but wanna make sure.

Don't see why not. X58 has enough PCIe lanes to go around.

Only the 3rd (bottom) slot is speed reduced.

Go for it...the card will run just as fast. Both are X16 (physical and electrical).

There is no such thing...the Z68 will be the last of the X6 series. LGA2011 will be the X7 series. :ugeek:
