Got this for $175 shipped, which I felt was a pretty decent deal and couldn't refuse ;)

No other hardware to get it up and running though...for now

I'm thinking about ordering this today:
Intel Core i3 2100
Noctua NH-C12P SE14
Gigabyte GeForce GT210
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline Stiletto 8GB

Should be sufficient for my server :) But I'm somewhat torn between the 2100 (dual w/ HT) vs 2400 (quad)...it's a $66 difference and I don't think I really need a quad in my server, although I do some Hyper-V on it, nothing too hard-core.

I wish I could get some better lighting over my desk though...would make life easier. These GU10 bulbs are a bit too warm and not quite bright enough.

But anyhow, I ordered the stuff above. Maybe in for a fun weekend ;)

We are doing our part to juice up the economy! The additional hardware purchasing has revived the forums. It's nice to see.

I'm in the same boat...except I purchased my house 3 years ago. The home purchase ended the days of LN2 when I could destroy a $1000 processor and not really care. I have to be a little more selective of my hardware purchased. I just got married this past august...that was another massive expense, and now I have to run purchases by her just so she knows where my money is going.

Whilst I'm not yet married (congrats by the way!! I didnt know!!) I do care more for the house than the want for 4 or 5 or 6 580's so I'm being good with what I'm buying because I simply dont want to get into debt when I dont need to :) Plus I'm trying to get away with buying things on credit cards because quite simply, they do my head in!! I've got one left with a balance on, but its 0% interest and I cant wait to get rid of it :D Then I'll be able to spend a little more on the PC and get things bloody finished once and for all!!

Its just dawned on me I've nearly had my house a year now!!
