Post The FT01 Re-Build
Well here's the pictures you guys wanted. Main changes as follows:

  • Laing DDC3.25 pump
  • Koolance HTS-PMP400 (pump heatsink). I've attached a 60x15mm Delta to it as well.
  • Lamptron FC-6 fan controller with one probe in between the pump and pump heatsink. Maybe more around the motherboard later.
  • XSPC Black Aluminum faceplate. New ones come with this, but I had the original model that was just shiny black acrylic.
  • EK Nickel Plated backplate for the GPU. No real function IMO but looks slick.
  • Single sleeved PCIe power cables.
  • Indigo Xtreme Thermal Interface. Uses Phase Change Metal Alloy (PCMA).
  • Thermochill EC6 UV Blue Fluid. Seems a bit lighter than Feser One.
  • 3x1TB Samsung F3's in RAID5 alongside the Vertex 2 120GB SSD.

And I got a nice counter for my PC now too  Since we're re-doing our kitchen, this new cabinet ended up being too small. So I inherited it, found a nice piece of stainless steel (it's a cabinet door actually) at IKEA, and screwed that to the top. It's a bit tall though, but I'll probably get used to it. Makes my PC the showcase of my room ;) I need some longer cables now though....

Great pics JD!! I have yet to finish the remodel job on the Computer Cabin workroom ... too many other projects going on. Had to re-do the chimney stack for our woodstove the last week or so. I'm using the Boss's iMac to type this. I don't get on her computer that much but thought I'd check in today to see what's going on.

Great work! :handgestures-thumbup:

Just be sure to use CCleaner when you are done using it and clear out your internet history.

Post Re: The FT01 Re-Build
Well my P-PCs order showed up today, so I'm nearly complete now. Just need to hookup my DVD-RW (need to get it some power) and then cleanup the fan controller wires in the bays.

The notable addition today is the switch to turn on/off all the lighting. By total chance, it fit perfectly into the pre-drilled watercooling holes (which are absolutely useless otherwise). So it gives it a pretty clean, factory look I'd say.

Image

And for reference, the Phobya Y-cable 3Pin Molex to 4x 3Pin Molex (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ ... s_id=28837) works great with the Lamptron FC-6 to split one of the channels. Now all my radiator fans are on 1 channel while still showing the RPM too.

Also my sidepanel nearly sits flush now! At least it's not as noticeable as it was before.

To cool what? This 460 is an iceberg compared to that 480. :)

Oh yea, the CPU? Hmmm...I just may. How much is all that sweetness? Of course I only need to route to my cpu.

I can't really say... I've bought things over the course of many years and have re-used tidbits. However in total the amount I've spent on watercooling-related things is probably nearing the $1K mark? All I know is that I have a fair bit of shit in my closet. I have a whole loop for that matter (D-TEK FuZion v2, MCR220, MCP355, Bitspower Bay Reservoir, bunch of fittings, tons of bits of tubing, fans, etc)

But to setup a CPU loop with some decent gear, probably looking at around $300-400.

For the most part ;) I have the urge to upgrade though

I mainly want to find a decent looking case (re: not a square box, not over-the-top) that fits a 120.3 radiator internally though. The TJ11 is close to meeting that, but it's fucking expensive and the intake holes for the mid-180mm fans look half assed.
