i seem to remember that game isn't that hard.. only part was difficult was towards the end when you had to fight the giant sentry crawler. can you change the difficulty on the spot? i can't remember it's been so long. it was a decent game tho. not exactly smart enemy Ai, but fun overall game.

btw, i decided to go with Inquisition. cheaper of the two. plus i thought since Origin offers "good game guarantee" return policy, i can always return it if i don't like it.

How's Ryse on PC? I bought it for XBOX One last year, and was majorly disappointed. Absolutely boring gameplay, but it does look pretty!

it's a visual benchmark, with a bit of gameplay. that's why i bought it. so it's exactly what i was going for, and i love the visuals and casual gameplay (repetitive)

I've mostly been picking up older games, and indie games and stuff the kids can play. I got 150$ for my steam wallet for xmas so I'm watching my wish list for sales. My backlog is pretty big so i'm not in a rush to pay anything close to full price for newer games since they'll probably be cheaper by the time I get to playing them.

I've mostly been playing castle crashers and AOE3. castle crashers is pretty fun actually.

I've got my kids until sunday so there will be some lego batman 3 in the near future as well

i tried Dragon Age Inquisition and refunded it after 3 hours of gameplay.

it's just not $40 worth of fun. i would probably pay $7 for it.

you can't queue attacks in tactical mode like in Mass Effect and previous dragon ages games, which really defeats the purpose of this type of action RPG game for me. you can only queue ONE attack. it's stupid.

on top of that, the controls ported from console isn't very fluid and fully flushed out. i think i'll wait until it gets down to the $7 mark, perhaps next Christmas to pick it up. it's just not $40 of fun for me.
