All it needs is a small drop on all 4 corners along with a lead foot to burn some rubber. What kind of tire is that? It has tons of sidewall.

 not sure about burning rubber on this puppy. it's only a 312hp v6, a far cry from my last V8. not to mention those Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 (ain't that along ass name) are pretty damn sticky. with the stock BFG T/A Spec tires i could still spin the tires a bit, but not those new rubber. they're way softer compound.

this is going to be my look good fun toy for a couple years until i save up enough for the Stingray C7. :D

The v12 are a pretty nice tire. Got those on the rsx currently. I got them at 225 instead of the stock 215 and can't even hear it squeak during cornering. Either they are super awesome, or I suck at turning.

Wow c7, I would assume a c6 z06 or a zr1. Aiming big, I like that.

Greg and i were talking the other day. i was thinking about upping to the ZL1 Camaro, but he convinced me that it wouldn't be much of a upgrade. That and we both agreed that the C7 Stingray is just overall a much better car.

my hope is that in a year or two, i can sell the V6 Bee, put in a bit of down payment, and finance the rest. my budget is $40~$50K and since right now there're already C7's in low 50's i am thinking it shouldn't be too hard for the price to drop some more.

at least that's the plan for now, who knows what might happen in two years.

btw, i am quite impressed with the Hankook. i was gonna go with my choice of BFGoodrich Sport Comp 2, or Firestone Indy 500, or Cooper Zeon RS-3. but none of these were in stock when i ordered the wheels at the shop. the shop instead suggested the Hankook V12 EVO2, since they had plenty of them, and price was reasonable. i am quite impressed with how sticky it is. and the ride isn't bad either.

The only negative I heard about the v12 is they get louder once they start wearing down. Driven 15k or so on my set and haven't heard anything yet. And to be fair, I drive a Honda. Its a loud car to begin with.

i heard that about the V12 as well. although, i think the same could be said about many tires. the thing is, when treads start wearing down, there's less cushion between the road. i was worried about the noise issue, but i am glad it's not loud at all.
