Post Re: Apple computers and graphics cards
Is it a newer Intel-based Mac? If so, I believe it should.

I know in the past there's been "Mac" edition GPUs with EFI BIOS on them, but now that EFI has come to regular desktops as well, most GPU vendors support it on all cards.

^ I'm not sure if that applies to "real" Macs. I have a 660 in my hackintosh though and it works, so it might. they are more or less x86 machines now

just try it and find out :P

granted some things on a hackintosh require special kexts. But since the graphics works outside the box without problems, on a real make it should be same.

If you are booting the Mac Into Windows then yes, any GPU will work (to the best of my knowledge). If you want to run the card while booted into Mac OS X, you will need specific cards that support it. Example, I'm running a PC 5770 that works unmodified.

And yes, that comment about no fighting was me.
