Like real sims, not Grand Tourismo for Forza.

I know Steve at least used to play some NASCAR sims.

Now that I have me a wheel and pedal set I've been enjoying the crap out of iRacing. If anyone else is on there or wants to be on there let me know. We can grab some races together.

It's great fun. And lots of good oval racing.

it works like a league, so you only race against real people. There are no AI drivers. And they have strict rules of conduct and will ban you form the game if you are just out to wreck people. So the drivers take it very seriously which leads to some really great racing.

If you decide to join use my email as the refer if you don't mind. luke.sluder(AT)gmail

Gran Turismo not a sim game?????? I'll let you know I still got the Logitech wheel and pedals combo along with GT4 in the closet ready for action. As I did not upgrade to the ps3 or ps4, I don't have the other games, but if I'll buy a console, the first game I'll get is GT5.

In GT4 there is this Suzuki you win half way through the game that after maxing out the specs on it, destroys everything it goes against.

Yeah, GT and Forza are not sims. Play anything made by SIMBIN on the PC or even just join me in iRacing and you'll see what I mean. Completely different animal. The console games are designed for people with controllers (even though you can get wheels like you said), so they can't be as realistic as real sims because it would be impossible to drive one with the controller.
