Post Excessive popups
About 2 weeks ago IE started popping up 2 boxes when I open it. The main page as normal and another which is an Ad page. I've checked all the settings I can think of but it keeps doing it. Also now whenever I go to play any video no matter what site it is I get the adobe box appearing in the center of the video asking permission to "allow" or "deny". Is this a setting in Adobe flash player?

IE is still my primary browser on the PC, though Chrome is on my MacBook.

Firefox is doing the same things.

Opening 2 windows. One an ad.

And when starting a video Adobe asks for permission to allow or deny whatever from various addresses such as "www.underground.com". Different addresses each time.

sounds like you have a backdoor virus or something. it's trying to spam you.

i would run a full virus scan, AND go to trend micro's website, their "housecall" online scan is the best.

Apparently thats what it was. I just ran Malwarebytes and it picked up 3 suspicious items. It's no longer doing it.

Have to agree that Chrome is the way to go, especially if you have gmail and youtube account (just google account together?).
No matter which pc I use if I quickly log in I get my favorites/shortcuts and add-ons and all. It is very nice
