Post File Server
So I am considering purchasing and constructing a file server, so ill ask for some input from all of you here:

GIGABYTE GA-D510UD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813128436
WINTEC AMPX 2GB - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820161182
CORSAIR 400CX 400W - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817139008
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822148433
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822152185
D-Link DGS-2205 10/100/1000Mbps Switch - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6833127083

I remember some of you here previously running the non-raid versions of WD Blacks in raid, did any of you encounter any problems? Even thought i would be running the drives in a Raid 1 array for safety, i wouldnt want to get into any issues when using non-raid quality drives.

I don't see an NVidia card listed in there, so I'm leaving. :crying-blue:

Hahaha, what would be the need for a card in a file server Comixion?

you don't really need that big of a power supply that system. you might look at something of a 250-300w, even something like that would be overkill. you could save a few bucks there

Ya i know 400W is overkill, but there really arent any decently rated PSUs out there in the low Watt range sadly. This is the cheapest good one, and since it would be running 24/7/365 i was a PSU thats reliable.
