Post anyone have a color calibration tool that
measures luminance data?

i have a basic model of spyder, which only does calibration, but it doesn't do the geeky stuff of showing you the luminance data and delta value.

Yes it does...all you need is the SpyderPro software ;)

I can PM you a key if you want to peek into the darkside.

so i found a piece of 3rd party calibration software that surprisingly works with my Spyder2 hardware colormeter. although the software is only a demo, it does allow me to do a few more calibration tests that's not available in the Spyder2 software. among them, the brightness/darkness uniformity test, which was what i was interested the most, as well as the color uniformity test across the screen. after running through all the tests... the Cinema Display has a screen uniformity of less than 16% error for darkness, and less than 11% for white, and less than 4% for tone. generally speaking less than 20% is considered VERY good, and less than 10% deviation is professional grade.
