Post Netgear WNDR3700v2
Got one of these last night and promptly put DD-WRT on it. Netgear's firmware is the worst I've seen yet (GUI-wise).

It's your fairly common 5GHz Dual-Band Gigabit router. Can simultaneously broadcast 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks with separate SSIDs. Dual-stream only, not the "new" triple-stream routers that are slowly coming out (ones that advertise 450Mbps). 680MHz CPU, 64MB RAM, so it's fairly high-spec'd. Definitely out performs my previous RT-N16, especially in wireless performance though the ASUS did have 128MB of RAM but only a 480MHz CPU.

With 5GHz and WPA2-AES I've been able to get 15MB/s transfer speeds so far. That's fairly close to the router though, about 10 ft with nearly line of sight. Only about 8MB/s in my room which is about the same distance but no line of sight. Still way better than I could ever get on my ASUS which was about 5MB/s.

Very classy looking too IMO. And no antennas sticking out of it.

Super awesome. JD how did you like the rt n16 with DDWRT. I had issues back in the day and ended up installing oleg's firmware. Should I switch back again?

No complaints with DD-WRT on the RT-N16, always used the "nightly" builds so-to-speak though. Only thing that didn't work was local NAT redirection (my DDNS name is unaccessable within my network).
