Post NEW GAMING RIG
Finally my new rig is done, well... partially at least.
Since the bulldozer isn't out yet I put in a cheap processor for now and don't cool on water yet.

Here are the specs
AMD Phenom II X4 965 3,4Ghz Black Edition Boxed
Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9B
Asus M5A99X EVO
OCZ RevoDrive PCI-EXPRESS SSD 80GB
Sapphire HD6950 Dirt3 Edition
Corsair Gaming GS700

I'll put some benchmarks and photo's online later but don't expect much because I butchered the case
and suck at taking pictures with my bad camera. I'm going to run oblivion again.

yes, on second thought I'm going to watercool I might watercool it. Dunno, the cpufan was running at 5000rpm all the time no matter what but i dont know what I did wrong. Temp was 53 celcius with crysis running on max not to bad I thought. Then again it was because of the crazy fan.

I don't mind if you put your pics here, I bought everything on a webshop, but there are hardly any places where you can order these things in Belgium. Most get them from the Netherlands or Germany, I live close to both of them so not really a bother. Did you really only notice from the plugs? I guess my english got very good :D

Yep I just happen to notice the plugs. And your english is fine. But I thought French and German were the official Language there.

Not German but Dutch. There are nine towns in which German is spoken so it is a official language, English too for some reason. Small but complicated country really.

BTW: had some trouble with the case fan and accidentally bent the pins of my CPU so I'm in a bind now. Going to see about what now. I'd hate getting a new temporary one after they told me in the shop that the Bulldozer should have been released a few days ago.

Those aren't camera phone pics, are they? If they were, then I'd say you need to show Comixion how to use his camera phone ...

Kidding aside, those are nice pics.

Looking forward to seeing the final product ... :handgestures-thumbup:

Hey I just noticed the cut you made on the bay cage. What was the reason?

I wanted to put both the radiator and the fans INSIDE the case. But I was to ambitions for my first attempt it seems... The fans cover a bit of the drive bay and I didn't need a full bay because of the fan controller so I cut it. I really butchered the poor thing before it has even been properly used.

That's how you get to be a modder ... after butchering a few cases, you start to get the hang of it. Been there and done that. :handgestures-thumbup:
