Post Big case that IS so big!
So I walked into my local Microcenter today and I see this monstrosity of a case and the first thing I thought was they were having a drawing for a free RV.
I never thought Corsair would design something larger than an 800D.
I looked it over and I have to say that although very very big, I like the construction. Better air flow and extremely sturdy. My new watercool build is on the horizon and I'm sort of considering this bitch.

Really? You thought it was sturdy? I saw one in store and I felt the side panels were quite flimsy and the overall build quality was lesser than expected. It looks fine in photos, but I had a much different opinion seeing it in person.

Maybe I've just become used to the tank of a case that my Cosmos 2 is. My side panels are like an inch thick in some places.

Well I know it doesnt have outriggers for balance as tall as it is ;).....but yea it seems sturdy for something with that type of mass. Better than the 800D removeable panel overall somewhat.
And no way would I compare its stability with the cosmos. Thats a tank. I also looked at that one and its a well built case but I prefer a window. I think the cosmos se has one. Havent looked yet. If so I will consider it instead.

Yeah the lack of a window is my only real complaint with it, though I've been contemplating this: http://www.mnpctech.com/CoolerMaster_Co ... anels.html

Now that's cool. Except I would have hidden the drive bays. That would be simple. Just use black Vinyl film (on the inside) applied with application tape. And it's removable if you change your mind. I'm curious how they heated acrylic that thick to get that bend in it.

And this is the case I was looking at.
