Post Big case that's not so....big?
I need a case to hold this

I don't want some giant ugly monstrous thing that's a foot wide and takes my entire table

any suggestions?

I like Corsair's Obsidian series.

And they make it in a mid tower.

I know the full-size Obsidian case has hotswap bays. Not sure about the mid-size.

the 700D seems to be discontinued, the 800D is way too big, i'm not going there

is it so much to ask for something slightly less ridiculous to nicely wrap up a pair of xeon 5570's and 48gb of ram for my new workstation build?

Yes it is but I likes mine. However keep in mind the 800D is a piss poor air cooling case. I would say 650D. But it has a winder. If you look you will find fhe 700D.

i like Corsair's 600T graphite series. it's a pretty big Mid tower case that holds lots of stuff. that'll be my next case for my wife's rig.
