Post For AK?
Maybe you can buy one of these and review it for us AK:

If I recall you have the FT02? It would fit perfectly me thinks!

I likey! I was actually looking for something like this not too long ago. Thanks JD :handgestures-thumbup:

I'll have to see if there will be enough clearance for the video cards ... I think there might just be enough room for a couple of GTX580's, but not for my 5870's. The power cords extend from the back of the cards. Do the 580's have their power connectors on top? Too lazy to look ...

Well what do you consider the "top"? I say where the backplate is only due to how it sits in the case. So .....on the side front?

Yeah the 580s come out the side, I wouldn't call it top either. Top = backplate, Bottom = HSF (or vice-versa) IMO.

Great build. I've not had the time to do the things I wanted to do with my FT02. But seeing this build, sparks a renewed interest. I just have to get my customers' computers finished before I can do anything on my own ...

I'm tempted to upgrade to the FT02 just to do the same, but I see it doesn't fit EATX motherboards :(

So AK, how'd you fit the RIIIE in it? It claims to only support up-to 10.5", but the RIIIE is 10.6"...

I'm idling at 26C-29C, and that's OCed @ 4.6 24/7. Of course it's wintertime. But I like that case and rad.

It fit fine ... I'm not sure why that spec is there ... but I have room to move ... 8-)

I've been contemplating ... LGA2011 ... hmmm ...

When you have s spare moment....could you measure the space from the bottom fan to the edge of the SATA cables?

Post For JD
JD, just to let you know that I appreciate what you've done for me ... so here you go. :handgestures-thumbup:

To me it looks like I have about an inch or so ... and whatever that translates in mm, I couldn't tell you off hand. I have never mastered the metric system.
And never mind the dog hair and dust ... it's just what it is ...

I am getting jazzed about water-cooling this bad boy after seeing that build. But right now, everything I have is on this rig. Emails, my business records, pics, blah, blah, blah. I need to get my server back up and running and transfer everything back over.
Too much to do, and so little time.
But I did find the time to take these pics for you Jeff. 8-)

Post Re: For AK?
Thanks AK, as I figured that looks extremely tight if you were to put a radiator in down there. Seems the SATA cables would be damn near impossible to connect.

ATX + Radiators would probably fit fine though most LGA2011 boards with 8 DIMMs are EATX.

Could probably fit 2 single 180mm rads, one where the HDD's are and one at the other end of the case, leaving the middle open to fit the SATA cables and GPUs.

Anyways, CES is due soon, where Charles will be releasing the MKII, produced by Silverstone. http://www.million-dollar-pc.com/system ... ox-mk2.htm Looks like that'll be the case to get in order to fit everything nicely.
