Post Lamptron Elite Aluminum Clamps
Say goodbye to ugly clamps.
Wake the kids and phone the neighbors.

These are neato. Clean looking and less likely to pinch or cut your tubing.

Let me take this time to chime in on the advantages and disadvantages of these clamps since I have used them now.

pros: dam good looks
choice of colors
ease of use

cons: expensive--but who cares? huh?
Aluminum--not a good thing for clamps, no matter the pressure
poor (weak) threading design

Of the 8 I bought at 4 bucks a pop, 3 were bad. Not good when $12 went to pot. So I had to use conventional clamping on my Hydro Copper and CPU. The threading for the screws were stripped before I used them. I tested each one first. It's not a good idea to drill such a small (threaded) hole into aluminum. Ever. It just will not last. They should be a harder type of metal.
If these were a quarter a piece it would be no big deal since water tubing doesnt need such pressure applied to the clamps. Just thought I would let you know. But overall they are an nice touch over conventional "ugly" clamps. For watercooling I would buy them again and hope I get all good ones.

Well I don't need these particular clamps for sure. They don't tighten shit. I only used 2 at the res. I can see using something on the 1/2ID tubing just for piece of mind but the 7/16ID when fitted onto the 1/2" fittings fits pretty dam snug.
